The Stanford Med | MENA Health Program is committed to bridging the gaps.

Building a Healthier Future for the MENA region.

The alarming statistics reflect the urgent healthcare crisis facing the MENA region. High-quality, rigorous health research is often sparse, and national policy frameworks struggle to effectively prioritize, coordinate, and implement impactful health interventions. This results in a shortage of data-driven, time-sensitive responses to pressing health issues, compounded by a lack of specialized training and continuing education for healthcare professionals.

Stanford Med | MENA Health Program is committed to bridging these critical gaps in healthcare access, quality, and resilience. Through innovative solutions, targeted training, and robust advocacy, we aim to address the unique health needs of MENA communities and foster a sustainable, data-driven healthcare system.

THE VISION

To build the largest internationally-recognized program at Stanford University School of Medicine dedicated to creating a predictive healthcare system powered by data and local expertise, systematically addressing the health needs of MENA communities through advanced research, workforce development, and resilient health systems.
